Who is Euro Optic? Complete Guide
- by refactorNovember 12, 2021
With so many companies out there, it’s incredibly difficult to determine which company is best and deserves your business.
So, what about Euro Optic? When I first heard of them, I thought it was a European-owned company, but they’re actually from Pennsylvania.
This blog should be used as a guide to better understanding what Euro Optic has to offer in a very crowded marketplace. I believe once you learn a little more about them, you’ll give them a chance.
What Does Euro Optic Sell?
At first, you might think they’re an optics company that only sells scopes and red dot sights. You’d be half right because they do sell rifle scopes and red dot sights, but they also sell rangefinders, guns, ammo, binoculars, and tactical gear.
To me, what separates Euro Optic from many other competitors is Euro Optic only sells top-shelf products. Many other companies have the same weapons, optics, and gear, but they also have a lot of other products that Euro Optics would never carry.
If it helps you distinguish between Euro Optic and other companies, think of them as BMW of tactical gear distributors.

What Discounts Are Offered From Euro Optic?
We understand that most of our readers are veterans, active service members, or law enforcement. Any company that is willing to offer a discount to veterans, service members, law enforcement, and NRA trainers, is a company we will support.
All first responders are given a discount with proof of service in the form of an I.D. card or other certified paperwork.
What is Euro Optic VIP Program?
In order to get the discount, you have to sign up for the Euro Optic VIP program. All you have to do is give them an email ([email protected]) and you’ll have to send them a pic or scan of your I.D. or other credentials. If you’re an instructor and want the VIP just send them a certification certificate for the NRA and it should work.
If you’re an FFL be sure to include your completed tax exemption certificate. The good news is that they’ll walk you through anything you need help with by going to the VIP sign up page.
Once you sign up, you’ll be contacted within 48 hours (business days) by a representative and given the instructions to complete your order. I was contacted within a day and already taking advantage of my new shotgun.

What About Euro Optic Shipping Costs?
One of my biggest gripes about many of the gun companies is they always upcharge at shipping to the tune of $20-$50 after checkout. Maybe I’m cheap, but I don’t think a company should ever charge someone $50.00 to ship an optic or gun just because it’s expensive.
This is one of many reasons I bought my newest shotgun from Euro Optic and not PSA or Gun Broker. Euro Optic charges a flat rate to ship any gun for $9.99 and will ship any package over $250.00 for free (excluding firearms). When you’re buying binoculars or range finders, you most likely won’t be able to find a top-of-the-line product under $250.00.
So, expect anytime you shop you’ll probably receive free shipping because you’ll spend over the amount.
Why Should I Shop at Euro Optic?
Just like with any company, I always look at who has the best deals for each product I’m looking for. I’m not going to say they have the cheapest price on every product, but I do find them to be fair prices.
As I mentioned above, Euro Optic is a high-end gear and gun store that sells the best of the best like Leupold, Benelli, Daniel Defense, Vortex, and Swarovski. If you closed your eyes and picked any product from their line, you’d end up with a top-of-the-line product that you’ll get years of use.
With most of us at RE being Veterans, we love to support any company that’s going to offer us a discount for our previous service. It’s not going to save you hundreds on a gun or a coveted Swarovski, but it will cover taxes and some of the shipping.
When you think about the money saved for buying a gun here, it can add up quickly to well over $100 savings based on the flat-rate shipping and discounts with the VIP membership.

I appreciate the 15-day return policy as well because sometimes, you just don’t like a product or can’t justify the purchase once you’ve gone through with it. If you return any item within 15 days, you’ll receive a 100% refund on the sale.
What is a Swarovski Optic?
There are some brands for products that simply stand above their competition in quality, practicality, and elegance. Swarovski is the European equivalent of what many Americans know as Leupold.
It was 2016 when I was first introduced to a Swarovski binocular set in Yellowstone National Park. I was trying to watch the Wapiti Lake Wolf Pack bring down an Elk in Hayden Valley. My $75 binos couldn’t reach the action, but a guest from Switzerland let me look through her pair of Swarovski binos to see exactly what was happening.
The fight was over a mile away and I felt like I was looking through an HD TV lens with virtually no glare and almost no adjustment to lock into the target.

Conclusion
This may seem like a quick explanation of a complex and versatile company, but I’ll be writing a future blog on my favorite hunting rifles from Euro-Optic. Remember to sign up for first responders and send in the verification. The discount might not seem like a lot until you buy a rifle, Swarovski binoculars, or a Leupold scope.
From my experience with most discounts, you can expect the discount to take care of the taxes involved. That can be as much as $100 depending on the product you buy; you mine as well take advantage of the cheaper price.
Until next time, read some of our other blogs (below) if you’re interested in learning more about other companies.
