For a long time, I’ve carried a Glock 26 as my primary concealed carry handgun. Hell, sometimes I even carried my Glock 17 concealed.
As of recently, my Glock 26 has been knocked off its pedestal by the Glock 43X.
I’d venture to say that the Glock 43X is the best concealed carry gun in the Glock lineup. Take a stock Glock 43X, add the following accessories, and you’ve got yourself the ultimate concealed carry gun.
What can I add to my Glock 43X? There is no shortage of aftermarket Glock 43x accessories, but there are a few that I feel are necessary. Those are the sights, a match barrel, and a metal high-capacity magazine. Beyond that, you can add a compensator if you have a threaded barrel for the Glock 43X.
Glock 43X Sights | Night Fision Sights
Night Fision is one of the oldest Tritium license holders in the United States and knows a thing or two about working with Tritium. Their Tritium night sights are some of the most technologically advanced sights on the market for handguns. So what makes the Night Fision Tritium night sights stand out from others on the market?
To start they use a ballistic polymer cup. Many other companies use only a painted ring or small cap. The ballistic polymer cup is made from the same material as bulletproof glass. Additionally, the ballistic polymer cup material is given a fluorescent color. Inside the ballistic polymer cup sits a custom-made Tritium vial.
That Tritium vial has 30% more gas pressure than any other night sight on the market. Pressure is what makes the Tritium bright. The higher the pressure, the brighter the gas becomes. Next, the ballistic polymer cup and custom Tritium vial is injected into a 4140 metal body that is coated with a black nitride finish.
All this attention to detail ensures their sights are the brightest available. Night Fision guarantees the sights for life never to chip, crack, fade, or fall out. Pretty sure these sights will survive an end of the world apocalypse.
Faxon Firearms has been impressing the industry with their barrel expertise for a while now. Their match-grade barrels for the Glock 43X are no exception.
The Faxon match barrel drops right in without any fitting needed and the lockup is noticeably tighter than the OEM barrel. The combination of the tighter lockup, 1:10 conventional rifling, and 11-degree target crown makes for a clean shooting and very accurate Glock 43X.
This Glock 43x barrel is extremely accurate and with the different coating options, you can get the look you want; because looking cool does matter.

Faxon Firearms EXOS Compensator
The Faxon EXOS Pistol Compensator is one of the best comps on the market for the Glock 43X handgun. Granted it’s not the only player in town, its design, ease of installation, and performance have put the competition on its heels.
The angled port design allows gas to deflect upwards as opposed to only deflecting to the sides, reducing the up and down muzzle movement and improving the overall accuracy of the Glock 43x. The Faxon EXOS Pistol Compensator is designed to fit flush with the slide and has been optimized for Faxon pistol barrels.

Shield Arms Glock 43X Magazine
The Glock 43X is an excellent option for concealed carry, but with a ten-round capacity, it falls short of other pistols in this category.
Shield Arms has the solution with its innovative Gen2 15-round metal magazine. This high-strength steel magazine not only adds an extra five rounds of capacity but does it while extending no further than the factory magazine. Additionally, you get a little better purchase at the base of the magazine in the event you need to rip the magazine from the gun.
The Shield Arms Glock Magazine Release is a quick and easy way to upgrade to your Glock 43X pistol. This magazine release is machined from steel for unrivaled durability and is designed to merge flawlessly with the ergonomics and styling of the Glock 43X.
In addition to functioning exactly like an OEM release, the profile of the Shield Arms Glock 43X Magazine Release is slightly extended with chamfered edges which helps ensure that you eject your magazine each and every time you depress the mag release. Why upgrade to this steel Glock magazine release?
The OEM magazine release is made from a polymer material. When you upgrade to the Shield Arms 15-round metal magazine, over time that metal magazine will wear on the OEM magazine release causing functionality issues. To mitigate those issues, it’s highly recommended to upgrade to this steel magazine release.
This is clearly a fast and easy way to customize your favorite Glock. The magazine release is compatible with Glock OEM 43X and 48 magazines plus the Shield Arms 15-round metal magazines.
Specs
Steel mag catch, several finish options
Ambidextrous
Compatible with Gen 1 and Gen 2 S15 magazines
Chamfered, textured button
Optimized for use with Shield Arms S15 magazines
Lower profile for concealed carry

100% lifetime warranty
Conclusion
With the above accessories, the Glock 43X shoots a lot bigger than it really is. What I mean by that is that when I’m shooting this gun I don’t feel like I’m shooting a smaller-sized gun; I feel like I’m shooting a normal-sized gun such as the Glock 19. Additionally, I have the same capacity as a Glock 19, but in a smaller footprint for concealability.
Add these Glock 43X accessories to your handgun and watch the performance and accuracy skyrocket.
