From sights that enhance target acquisition to magazine extensions that increase ammunition capacity, join us as we uncover the best Glock 43x accessories and upgrades that can help you achieve unparalleled accuracy and performance in your shooting.
What can I add to my Glock 43X? There is no shortage of aftermarket Glock 43x accessories, but I feel a few are necessary.
Those are the sights, a match barrel, and a metal high-capacity magazine. Beyond that, you can add a compensator if you have a threaded barrel for the Glock 43X.
Best Glock 43x Barrel: Faxon Firearms
Although the OEM Glock barrel will get the job done for 99% of those carrying concealed, you can do a few things to a pistol to stretch the effective distance out to 50 yards and beyond.
Things like a match barrel that can cut your group in half at 50 yards, ammo selection, and a good set of sights.
Faxon Firearms has been impressing the industry with its barrel expertise for a while now. Their match-grade barrels for the Glock 43X are no exception.
The Faxon match barrel drops right in without fitting, and the lockup is noticeably tighter than the OEM barrel. The tighter lockup, 1:10 conventional rifling, and 11-degree target crown make for a clean shooting and accurate Glock 43X.
This Glock 43x barrel is extremely accurate, and with the different coating options, you can get the look you want because looking cool does matter.
Best Glock 43x Compensator: Faxon EXOS
The Faxon EXOS Pistol Compensator is one of the best comps for the Glock 43X handgun.
Granted it’s not the only player in town, its design, ease of installation, and performance have put the competition on its heels.
The angled port design allows gas to deflect upwards instead of only deflecting to the sides, reducing the up-and-down muzzle movement and improving the overall accuracy of the Glock 43x.
The Faxon EXOS Pistol Compensator is designed to fit flush with the slide and has been optimized for Faxon pistol barrels.
The EXOS is specifically engineered to function effectively with a wide range of factory-loaded ammunition, resulting in a notable decrease in the upward movement of the firearm’s muzzle, typically ranging from 13% to 27% when using 115gr ammunition.
In the case of the G43, there is a significant 73% reduction in the upward flip of the muzzle when compared to using no additional muzzle device, or a 27% reduction in muzzle flip overall. The G43x and G48 exhibit an 87% reduction in muzzle flip compared to the average compensator’s performance or a 13% reduction compared to similar products on the market.
In the past, some individuals have expressed concerns about compensators affecting the reliability of the slide cycling correctly. To address this issue, some users have opted to enhance the performance of their pistols by upgrading the recoil springs to “compensate" for any potential drawbacks.
Our team thoroughly tested various ammunition options, including 115-grain, 124-grain, and 147-grain loads, in conjunction with the Faxon EXOS compensator.
The outcome of these tests was highly favorable. One recommendation for those seeking an excellent starting point would be to consider utilizing 124-grain NATO FMJ loads for range and practice sessions.
These rounds are designed to deliver gas pressure equivalent to +P loads, making them ideal for training.
There is a wide array of self-defense ammunition options, particularly in the realm of 124-grain Jacketed Hollow Point (JHP) loads, which are readily available in today’s market.
Among the various choices, we highly recommend considering HOP Munitions. This reputable manufacturer offers a comprehensive selection of ammunition, including FMJ training rounds and hollow point rounds loaded with high-quality 124-grain bullets.
Best Glock 43X Sights
Night Fision
Night Fision is one of the oldest Tritium license holders in the United States and knows a thing or two about working with Tritium. Their Tritium night sights are some of the most technologically advanced sights on the market for handguns. So what makes the Night Fision Tritium night sights stand out from others?
To start, they use a ballistic polymer cup, while many other companies use only a painted ring or small cap. The ballistic polymer cup is made from the same material as bulletproof glass and is fluorescently colored. Inside the ballistic polymer cup sits a custom-made Tritium vial.
That Tritium vial has 30% more gas pressure than any other night sight on the market. Pressure is what makes the Tritium bright. The higher the pressure, the brighter the gas becomes. Next, the ballistic polymer cup and custom Tritium vial is injected into a 4140 metal body coated with a black nitride finish.
All this attention to detail ensures their sights are the brightest available. Night Fision guarantees the sights for life, never to chip, crack, fade, or fall out. I’m pretty sure these sights will survive an end-of-the-world apocalypse.
I’ve been running XS Big Dot Sights on my Glock pistols for years and can’t say enough good things about them.
Compared to traditional pistol sights, these are not as precise but not built for precision shooting. They are built for combat accuracy if you ever find yourself in the fight for your life.
I like to think of the XS Big Dot sights as an analog red dot on your pistol. They are always on, and to put effective rounds on target, all you need to do is put the dot on whatever you intend to destroy.
The Tyrant CNC Glock 43x & 48 magazine extension offers unparalleled ease of installation. It adds an additional capacity of 4 rounds to your original factory 10-round magazine and includes a 10% power spring. Thanks to the finely machined inlay, the extension enhances your magazine handling experience with faster drops and effortless retrieval.
These are ONLY to be used with the factory 10-round magazines. Since the 43x comes with two factory magazines, I kept one original that I carry in the gun and installed the Tyrant CNC mag extension on the second one for my spare magazine.
Some will argue the lack of capacity by staying with the OEM magazines, but in my opinion, that isn’t a factor. Ten rounds should be enough to end most deadly encounters. If you need more or have a magazine failure, your spare mag is for that. And with the now 14 rounds, thanks to the Tyrant CNC mag extension, I have more than enough to handle any threat in the areas I spend time in.
Using the Glock 43x/48 Magwell by Tyrant CNC, you can effortlessly insert your loaded magazine into the grip of your Glock pistol.
Crafted from durable 6061 aluminum and featuring an innovative, patent-pending attachment design, these meticulously engineered mag wells streamline the process to the point where, with some practice, you can reload a fresh magazine without even looking at your firearm.
Gain a competitive edge or enhance your self-defense capabilities with saved seconds. Compatible with S15 magazines and a wide range of aftermarket extensions.
Experience improved loading speeds with this Glock 43x/48 Magwell’s enhanced ergonomics. The forward relief cuts offer enhanced comfort, while the aggressive funnel guarantees quick and successful reloads.
Additionally, the Tryrant CNC mag well noticeably enhances my grip. My grip seems slightly higher and more locked in with the mag well.
Goon tape, a specialized grip tape, offers significant benefits when it wraps the pistol grip of a Glock 43x, a firearm known for its slim design.
This customization enhances the shooting experience in several ways.
First, the primary advantage of using Goon tape on the Glock 43x is its improved grip. While popular for its compactness and ease of concealment, the Glock 43x can be challenging for shooters with larger hands or those who prefer a more substantial grip. Goon tape addresses this by adding thickness and texture to the grip, allowing for a more secure and comfortable hold. This is particularly beneficial in high-stress situations or environments where precision and control are paramount.
Second, the tape’s textured surface significantly reduces the chances of the pistol slipping, especially in conditions where sweat or moisture is a factor. This feature is crucial for maintaining consistent performance and safety. The enhanced grip stability offered by Goon tape ensures that the shooter can maintain a firm hold on the firearm, thereby improving accuracy and control during rapid firing or when making quick, successive shots.
Moreover, Goon tape is durable and designed to withstand environmental conditions without peeling or losing its texture. This resilience ensures that the tape remains effective, providing a long-term solution for those seeking a more substantial grip on their Glock 43x.
Conclusion
With the above accessories, the Glock 43X shoots a lot bigger than it is.
What I mean by that is that when I’m shooting this gun, I don’t feel like I’m shooting a smaller-sized gun; I feel like I’m shooting a normal-sized gun such as the Glock 19.
Add these Glock 43X accessories and upgrades to your handgun and watch the performance and accuracy skyrocket.
