Who is E-Arms? FFL Transfer in Texas

E-Arms is one of the newest and easiest to use Federal Firearms License (FFL) companies you’ll find in Texas. After spending years in San Antonio and Dallas, I’ve come to understand that some stereotypes about Texans are true. Guns are a way of life for Texans, ever since their inception into the United States. Of anywhere I’ve been in the country, I’ve never seen as many gun owners as I have seen Texas. There are hundreds of FFL companies that are able to transfer your new gun to you, but how many are fair and easy to work with? My experience tells me that FFL transfers are stressful and often uncomfortable. If you live in Texas and are capable of going to Austin, you must try E-Arms.

Why Should I Trust E-Arms?

I have several guns and have bought them at different points in my life, in different states across the country. I can’t tell you how many times, I’ve bought a gun and had to go to someone’s house in a nefarious-looking neighborhood. I don’t judge and wish well upon every American, but some neighborhoods are safer than others and I don’t want to ignore that. The last thing that you want is to go to someone’s house and they answer their door in PJs and a gun in their hand. In my experience, it’s either that or going to a pawn or gun shop and not knowing if you’re getting taken to the cleaners with their prices and added “taxes" that you have no clue what they are.

How Much is E-Arms Transfer?

I’ve paid as much as $50.00 for a rifle FFL Transfer after the added taxes and fees were added up in the end. As much as I thought this was too much, many of my friends said they’ve experienced the same with some FFL transfers. The flat-rate prices make E-Arms so much better than their competition. Depending on the type of gun you buy, the transfer fee is a standard $10 or $15. E-Arms is able to do this standard fee because they’re a cash-only business that doesn’t want to add complexity to a simple transaction.

How Do I Use E-Arms?

Anytime you buy a gun you must go through the same steps as everyone else in order for it to be a legal transaction. Any store you buy a gun from is going to ask you for an FFL to transfer the gun from seller to buyer. One of the first questions you’ll get is, what is the address of your FFL transfer? After you type in the address (listed below) you’ll need to send E-Arms an email at [email protected], including your name, phone number, order number, company name of the seller, and phone number of the seller. E-Arms will receive a confirmation date of delivery and reach out to you to complete the transfer by appointment only. They will send you the address that you’ll meet them at, not the address of their company with the time.

What Do I Need to Bring For FFL Transfer?

You’ll need to bring either the $10 or $15, your driver’s license or I.D., and a Texas CHL or LTC if you have one. Remember, they will send you their business meeting address to transfer your gun. That address is located on Powell Lane in Austin, TX, and not off of Capital of Texas Highway. Also, try to keep in mind your local and state laws when it comes to how you bring your gun home. Obviously in Texas, things are a little different, but you still need to know the laws in case you have to interact with law enforcement.

Does E-Arms Sell Guns?

Yes, Even though they’re working on developing their website, E-Arms sells hundreds of the most popular and customized guns from all major manufacturers. Even though It’s difficult for us right now to see their entire gallery of guns, ammo, gun parts, mags, and optics, you can email them and ask if they sell it. I’ve highlighted some of their most popular gun sales throughout the blog. If you’re located in Texas and can provide a Texas I.D. card, you’ll be able to get these guns at a much more affordable price if you count the savings from transfers and transportation taxes.

Conclusion

E-Arms is one of the easiest and respectful FFL transfers we’ve ever worked with and my boss has bought multiple guns from them with no complaints. Stop wasting your time with questionable FFLs and go with the pros at E-Arms. If you’re a Texan, this is a no-brainer for a standard fee of no more than $15 per transfer. Send them an email at [email protected] and enjoy how easy they make it for you to safely, and LEGALLY transfer possession of your guns. Austin has long been considered one the best BBQ and live music scenes in our country, now they have a world-class FFL for their 2nd Amendment needs. Good Luck and we hope you give E-Arms a try!
