Military Charities: Wounded Warrior Project– This is probably the largest military foundation to date. These guys have done a great job with trying to help out wounded warriors returning back from combat. They do everything from providing housing, jobs, entertainment, and support to those in need. The Semper Fi fund– These guys provide wounded Marines and their families with added income to help with the recovery process. This organization has streamlined their donations so that the maximum amount of funds go directly to the families in need. To donate go to https://semperfifund.org/donate Support a Soldier– SAS has taken a new approach and gives much-needed equipment to service members currently deployed. The way it works is a service member will put in a request for the equipment they need. SAS then finds a donor to fill the request and ships the equipment directly to the requestor. Special Operations Charities: Navy SEAL Foundation– The Navy SEAL Foundation’s mission is to provide immediate and ongoing support to the NSW community. These guys have done great things for SEALs and their families and provide great assistance to some of our nations most elite soldiers. To donate go to http://greenberetfoundation.org/donations.html Special Operations Warrior Foundation– The Special Operations Warrior Foundation provides full scholarship grants and education and family counseling to the surviving children of Special Operations personnel who die in operational or training missions and provide immediate financial support to severely wounded Special Operations personnel and their families. To donate go to http://www.specialops.org/?page=Make_A_Donation Heroes of Tomorrow- Heroes of Tomorrow is a nationwide army of veterans and other experts who donate their time and share their experiences to prepare Americans who have made the heroic choice to serve our country and communities. Heroes of Tomorrow volunteers provide FREE group training and information that will enable these prospective candidates to excel in military, law enforcement, public safety, and firefighter training. Law Enforcement Charities: National Law Enforcement Memorial Foundation– Founded in 1984, the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund is dedicated to honoring and remembering the service and sacrifice of law enforcement officers in the United States. These guys do great things to help give back the LE community and to the families of those who were killed in the line of duty.
